The process of making timing belts as we know it today was invented by Rudolf Breher, the founder of our parent company BRECO Antriebstechnik GmbH, in Germany, in 1967. By 1975, BRECO developed the patented BRECOFLEX® production process of extruding truly endless timing belts. BRECO would go on to oversee the development of many other patented products including the self-tracking timing belt, the curved tooth belt BAT, and the innovative convertible profile timing belt system ATN.

Already established as an industry leader, in 1985 their manufacturing expanded to pulleys making them the first single source provider of timing belts and pulleys. To further expand throughout the world market and serve a wider spectrum of customers, BRECOflex CO., L.L.C.  opened its facility in Eatontown, NJ in 1989. Together, we are the world leader of the highest quality polyurethane timing belts and pulleys ***ailable on the market today.
